Bradley Kaye


Bradley Kaye has designed sets for the Colony productions of The Grand Tour, The Nerd, You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown, and Side Show, all Critics’ Choices. He was scenic designer on the critically-acclaimed revival of The Laramie Project at the Laguna Playhouse, previously seen here at The Colony (Ovation nomination.). Other Colony credits include Our Country's Good (for which he received a Theatre LA Ovation Award nomination), On The Twentieth Century, and Clutter, The True Story of the Collyer Brothers Who Never Threw Anything Out.

Beyond Burbank, work includes Reprise!’s On The Town, Pippin, Company, On the 20th Century, Anything Goes, and a few others. He has been working in and around the LA Theatre scene for the past decade, at theatres ranging from the Interact and ICT to the Tiffany and Coronet. Shows of his shows have opened (and closed) Off-Broadway, on the road and out on the open seas. Recent ones include Forbidden Broadway (95-05) in NYC, productions for the Hollywood Bowl (Mame, Mass), and productions for both Norwegian Caribbean and Disney Cruise Lines. 

As part of Disneyland’s 50th Anniversary, he opened the ‘Block Party Bash’, a new daytime parade/street party for Disney’s California Adventure. In Hong Kong he opened ‘The Golden Mickeys’ for Hong Kong Disneyland, with his designs also being seen at Disney theatres (or parade routes) in California, Hong Kong, and Japan, and out in the Caribbean (but no pirates). 

Acknowledgements include LADCC’s Lifetime Achievement in Design, along with recognitions from Back Stage West and others.

Then, Candida George Bernard Shaw's story of a love triangle -- and a woman's choice between two men who love her.. Finally, the Los Angeles Premiere of a hilarious, sexy musical No Way to Treat a Lady.
