Allison Achauer designed
costumes for The Colony's The
Last Night of Ballyhoo, as well as Wet Weather Cover at
the Tiffany Theatre, Hardware at the Stella Adler Theatre, both
Rapunzel and Arsenic and Old Lace for the Falcon Theatre,
and One Flea Spare for the Evidence Room.
She was also the costume
designer for the opera Tosca with the New West Symphony, and for
the independent film Hot Wax Zombies on Wheels.
Her designs for productions
of Moliere's The Learned Ladies and Caryl Churchill's Cloud Nine
earned her the award for Best Costume Designer of the Year from the Pittsburgh
Post-Gazette.
She received her MFA in Costume
Design from Carnegie Mellon University.
