Adam Blumenthal
Adam travels between New York and Los Angeles working as both a scenic and lighting designer. His credits include It’s Magic! (Kodak Theatre); Sarafina! (LATC); Romeo and Juliet (Met Theatre); The Chicago Conspiracy Trial, The Brig, Proof, Great Expectations: A New Musical and Taking Steps (Odyssey); Invasion: The Musical (Hudson), and Yeehad! The Musical (Edinburgh Fringe). He was also lighting designer for the world premiere of Milt Larsen and Dick Sherman’s Pazzazz! The Musical (Granada), assistant to Jules Fisher and Peggy Eisenhauer on 9 to 5 (Ahmanson), and associate lighting designer with Jules Fisher on Ricky Jay: A Rogues Gallery (Geffen). Recent and upcoming New York credits include The Theatre Shows, A Three Night Concert Event; Ten Fingers: A Play of Magic, and the second annual Tommy Awards. Other LA venues include The Eclectic Company, The 24th Street Theatre, and The Bing Theatre, and New York venues include Theatre Row, Theatre at St. Clements, Players Theatre, Axis Theatre, and The Skirball Theatre. Adam is also a professional magician working frequently for private and corporate clients. He is a BFA graduate of University of Southern California School of Theatre. April, 2010
