Kurt Boesen appeared as Malachi Stack in The Matchmaker. He became a member of The Colony after working as the general understudy in The Front Page, during which he performed four of the eight roles he prepared. Since joining The Colony, Kurt has appeared in a number of productions including as one of the teacup-fielding butlers in Peccadillo, for which the cast won a Drama-Logue Ensemble Award, as Hamburger in King of Hearts,  as The Burglar, in Heartbreak House, Incorruptible and the Ovation Award-winning musicals City of Angels and On The Twentieth Century.

Kurt has also appeared in Rags, You Can't Take It With You and the Bonus production of ShortTracks,, as well as playing the death scene specialist, Mortimer, in the Bonus production of The Fantasticks.

Behind the scenes, Kurt stage managed 17 Days, The World of Ray Bradbury, and Morning's at Seven, and the Bonus productions of The Mousetrap and Daughters. He ran sound on To Culebra and Working, and the late night productions of Passions and Goin' Solo found him in the light booth. Kurt is The Colony’s senior Stage Manager.

His film and television credits include Outbreak with Dustin Hoffmann, The American President with Michael Douglas, the Supreme Court episode of Picket Fences, and national commercials for I.T.T. Corporation and Discover Card.
