Bobbi Cutler was a valued member of The Colony family, assisting in both administration and production until her untimely death in May 1997. The Matchmaker is dedicated to her memory.

For a number of years, Bobbi ran The Colony's highly successful telemarketing operations. She also served as Production Assistant for The Robber Bridegroom and Holy Ghosts, and as Assistant Director for The Last Chance Cafe, Habeas Corpus, Weekend Serenade, Execution of Justice, Generations, Guys and Dolls, The Skin of Our Teeth, The Last Metro, Rags, Working, King of Hearts, and the Theatre LA Ovation Award-winning City of Angels. Bobbi also worked as both Assistant Director and Stage Manager for the award-winning Candide, and stage managed the Colony bonus production of The Fantasticks and Goin' Solo, a Colony late night production.

Outside The Colony, Bobbi served as Production Coordinator for the Disney documentary films Symbiosis and American Journeys in Circlevision, for numerous commercials, and for the Carol Burnett Special Laughing Matters. She served as Assistant Director for Out and About Pictures' video production of Robert Chesley's Jerker, did continuity for two videos, and produced metaphysical programs for cable television.

The Colony is a much better place for Bobbi's having been here, and her cheerful presence will be missed by all who knew her.
