He has designed for numerous local theatres
including The Open Fist, Alliance Theatre, The Strasberg Theatre, The
Eclectic Company Theatre, and The Echo Theater Company where is also an
Associate Artistic Director.
In addition to theatre work he does
extensive work for themed entertainment. Some of the highlights include
Halloween Horror Nights at Universal Studios Hollywood, Space Mountain
Classic Sound at Disneyland, Nickelodeon All Access Cruises with
Nickelodeon and Norwegian Cruise Lines, and Camp Critters with Utopia
Entertainment at The San Diego Zoo.
He has lectured at Yale University,
The University of Missouri Kansas City, North Carolina School for the
Arts, California Institute of the Arts, and Purdue University. He won
the 1998 USITT Clear Com Sound Achievement award, and holds an MFA in
Sound Design from CCM at The University of Cincinnati.
