Kenny Finkle
His play Josh Keenan Comes Out to the World (originally commissioned by the Hangar) was presented as part of Philadelphia's Gay and Lesbian Theatre Festival (2004). In 2002 his play Transatlantica premiered at the Flea Theatre in Tribeca. His work has also been seen at Playwrights Horizons, Williamstown Theatre Festival, and adobe theatre, among others. His play The Fantastic and Naturally Tragic Ballad of Esmeralda and Mr. Sinclair premiered at the first annual NY Fringe Festival in 1997 and received the Best Performance Award. He is a recipient of a NYFA fellowship and has been awarded
University of Illinois' Inner Voices prize. Kenny is a graduate of
Columbia University's MFA Playwriting program and is a member of the
Dramatists Guild. He is currently under commission from the Ford's
Theatre in Washington, D.C. August, 2005
