Susan Gratch 

Susan Gratch was set designer for such Colony productions as The Thousandth Night, Indoor/Outdoor, The Man Who Came To Dinner, The Last Night of Ballyhoo,  Putting It Together, Heartbreak House and Morning's at Seven, for which she received a Drama-Logue Award. An Associate Artist of The Colony, Susan has also designed scenery for The World of Ray Bradbury, The Front Page, Candide, Rags, and Could I Have This Dance?

She has designed scenery for The Theatre @ Boston Court (Bleed Rail, Winchester House, Mother Courage, Cold Tender); The Geffen Playhouse (War Music); 24th Street Theatre (Kate Crackernuts); International City Theatre (Visiting Mr. Green, Amy’s View, The Servant to Two Masters, and Swinging on a Star); Playwrights Arena / Echo Theater (War Music); Shropshire Wolverine (Ian McKellan’s A Knight Out in Los Angeles); and Bottom’s Dream Theatre Company (world premieres of Eric Ehn’s Fire Flow, Choke Cherry and Mac Wellman’s The Lesser Magoo). 

A Professor of Theater at Occidental College, Susan teaches and designs scenery and lighting.
