Season Info

Melissa Hanson played the central role of Catherine in Suddenly Last Summer. Just prior to this, she was seen as Duckling Smith in Our Country's Good. She has also appeared at The Colony as Louise in To Culebra in multiple roles in The World of Ray Bradbury, in An Ideal Husband, as well as in the Second Stage productions of Fool For Love, Picnic, Are You Lonesome Tonight?, and The Country Girl. Melissa made her Colony directorial debut with the late-night production of Another Fine Mess.

At the Gene Dynarski Theatre in L.A., she appeared as Ophelia in Hamlet. In New York, she worked at the Open Eye, Double Image Theatre and the Riverside Shakespeare Company. Regional theatre credits include The White Whore and the Bit Player at the Williamstown Theatre Festival, Amanda in Private Lives, Portia in The Merchant of Venice, and Emilia in Othello at the Heritage Repertory Theatre in Virginia, Estella in Great Expectations, Olivia in Twelfth Night, and Titania in A Midsummer Night's Dream at the Theatre at Monmouth in Maine.
