His many Broadway show credits include Coalhouse Walker, Jr., in Ragtime, John in Miss Saigon, The Duke in Play On!, and Once Upon a Mattress, starring Sarah Jessica Parker. He also starred as Clopin in the Las Vegas premiere of Notre Dame De Paris, and co-starred opposite Larry Gatlin in the concert tour of The Civil War. His films include The Pick-Up Artist, The Sleepless, and Boomerang, starring Eddie Murphy. As a concert artist, David
has shared the stage with such artists as Aretha Franklin, Chaka Kahn,
and Harry Connick, Jr., and has performed throughout the world, appearing
before King Hassan II at his palace in Casablanca, Morocco, and President
and Mrs. Clinton at the White House.
