Former Colony member, Art Kempf made his debut at The Colony in The World of Ray Bradbury, after working in well over 50 productions from New York to Los Angeles...with many stops in between.

Art was seen as Bart Keely in Geniuses, directed by David Rose. Other stage credits include Spoon River Anthology, Look Homeward, Angel, The Skin of Our Teeth, On Borrowed Time, and Merry Wives of Windsor. He has created roles in new plays by Kevin Heelan (Distant Fires and Twi-Nite), Miguel Pinero (A Midnight Moon at the Greasy Spoon), John Patrick Shanley (Gorilla), and Oliver Goldstick (The Cabbagehead), among others. Art also portrayed Orson Welles in a one-man play.

Art has appeared on all the "soaps" on both coasts and has played major roles in many delightful small films, three of which won awards at festivals in Chicago, Cincinnati and Long Beach. Bruno's Shadow, in which he plays the title role, was selected for screening at the Cleveland International Film Festival.
