Jane Lanier (Additional Choreography, No Way
to
Treat a Lady) was recently the associate choreographer on
Broadway's Guys and Dolls (Nederlander
Theatre). She has choreographed
Little Fish at The Blank Theatre Company; Wild Party at The Blank Theatre
Company (LA Weekly Award, Beverly Garland Award, Ovation and NAACP
Award Nominations); Kiss of the
Spiderwoman (Musical Theatre Guild); Johnny Guitar (Off-Broadway at The
Century Theatre and at La Mirada); Smokey
Joe's Café and Pippin (both
at Fifth Ave Theatre Seattle); Kiss
Me, Kate (Musical Theatre West); Nightingale (Vineyard Theatre in
New York); Guys and Dolls, A Little
Night Music, and Music Man
(Interact Theatre Company); Ernest in
Love (Fremont Theatre); A
Kid's Life (Brentwood Theatre and national tour); and the
upcoming Ring of Fire (La
Mirada).
In addition to theatre, Jane choreographed several national
commercials and many S.T.A.G.E. and Actor's Fund Benefits.
Jane is also a director, and her credits include Out of Your Mind by Steven Kane
(GuerrilLA Theatre Company); The
Conex (winner of The Fremont Theatre Company's playwriting
contest); Jukebox (Young
Playwrights Festival at The Blank Theatre Company); Smell of the Kill, staged readings
of The Swan and Yesterday Quicksand,
and The Music Man, which she
co-directed with John Rubinstein (all for Interact Theatre
Company).
Her first short film, Touch,
will be finished this year.
