Albert Lord appeared on many stages in New York and Los Angeles, and various regional theatres in between. Colony audiences saw him in the The Martian Chronicles (Robby Award), Poor Murderer, Visitors from London, The Twelve Pound Look, And Then There Were None, Galileo, The Diary of Anne Frank (Los Angeles Drama Critics Circle Nomination), An Evening with Kathryn (Fuller) and Albert (a Noel Coward homage), Ring Round the Moon, and To Culebra.

Albert had the honor of playing Shakespeare with the APA Phoenix Company at San Diego's Old Globe with Sada Thompson and Christopher Walken, as well as appearing as Sir Paul in Congreve's The Double Dealer, and in his cabaret act at The Gardenia for Equity Fights AIDS.

As a director, Albert guided such works A Christmas Carol (his own adaptation), Susan and God, the Menotti operas The Medium and The Telephone, Separate Tables, the spectacular musical Lady in the Dark, and The Colony Bonus production of Payment Deferred.

Film and television appearances included Murder, She Wrote (a reunion with drama school classmate Angela Lansbury), Fridays, Simon and Simon, all the local soap operas, and several TV movies and commercials.

In addition, Albert served proudly on the Western Regional Board of Actors' Equity Association.

The 2000 Colony revival of Dandelion Wine is dedicated to the memory of Mr. Lord.
