She has been blessed to have received several awards, including an LA Weekly Best Production design award, a Drama Critics Circle Lifetime Achievement Award, a Back Stage West Garland Award Honorable Mention, several ADA Awards, and three LA Stage Alliance Ovation Awards. Desma serves as Art Director
for Nickelodeon's Amanda Show, All That, and Kenan & Kel.
She holds an MFA in Set Design from NYU and a BFA in Architecture from
Parsons School of Design and Whittier College.
