Yevgenia Nayberg


Yevgenia Nayberg (Scenic Design, Climbing Everest) is a scenographer, costume designer, and fine artist originally from Russia. She received her Fine Arts degree from The National School of Arts in Kiev. After moving to the US in 1994, Yevgenia studied theatre design at Carnegie Mellon University and received her MFA degree from California State University, Long Beach.

She has designed for theatre and opera venues including Mark Taper Forum's Taper, too, Pittsburgh Playhouse, East West Players, California Repertory Company, Long Beach Opera, A Noise Within, Theatre at Boston Court, and many others. Her paintings, stage designs, and poster art are in private collections nationwide.

In 1999 Yevgenia was selected to represent the United States at the prestigious Prague Quadrennial of Stage Design. She is a recent recipient of The National Endowment for the Arts/TCG Fellowship for theatre designers. Yevgenia was nominated for 2004 Ovation Award for her Set Design for A Winter People, produced by Theatre@Boston Court.

Then, Candida George Bernard Shaw's story of a love triangle -- and a woman's choice between two men who love her.. Finally, the Los Angeles Premiere of a hilarious, sexy musical No Way to Treat a Lady.
