He appeared with L.A. Theatre Works as Pa Joad in the Grapes of Wrath opposite Shirley Knight and in The Chosen at the Miles Memorial Playhouse. A resident artist with A Noise Within for the past ten years, his roles there included Sheriff Will in Bus Stop, Bradley in Buried Child (L.A. Drama Critics Circle Award - Lead Performance), Jacques in As You Like It, Torvald in A Doll’s House, and Solyony in The Three Sisters. 

Other L.A.Theatres: Mary Gaitskill’s A Romantic Weekend with Megan Mulally at Arcade, three appearances with Shakespeare Festival L.A., Mark Taper Forum, Odyssey Theatre and Don DeLillo’s production of The Day Room at the Court Theatre. 

Regional Theatre: Dinner With Friends and God’s Man In Texas at San Diego’s Old Globe Theatre, Cincinnati Playhouse, American Players Theatre, Wisconsin Shakespeare Festival, J. Howard Wood Theatre. 

Film and Television: Judging Amy, various movies-of-the-week, and the feature Bound By Honor. He also reprised his role in God’s Man in Texas on public radio for L.A. Theatre Works. 

He received his training at Northwestern University and the American Conservatory Theatre.
