David Potts (Set Designer) has done set design for the Colony's productions of American Fiesta, Shooting Star, Year Zero, Free Man of Color, Visiting Mr. Green, Mary's Wedding, The Voice of the Prairie, Almost, Maine, Rounding Third, I Have Before Me a Remarkable Document Given to Me by a Young Lady from Rwanda, Billy Bishop Goes to War, Sherlock's Last Case (Ovation Award nomination), The Drawer Boy and Grand Hotel, The Musical.

In New York he designed the Broadway productions of Born Yesterday with Ed Asner and Madeline Kahn, As Is, and The Musical Comedy Murders of 1940. He has designed the national tours of Sleuth with Stacy Keach and I Never Sang for My Father with Daniel J. Travanti.

His many Off-Broadway credits include the acclaimed productions of The Seahorse and The Boys Next Door, Album, with Kevin Bacon, Goodnight, Grandpa, with Milton Berle, and numerous productions for Circle Repertory Company and The Manhattan Theatre Club.

He has designed extensively for regional theatres across the country, the movies Kennedy's Children and Fifth 0f July, and, on ice, the world tour of 100 Years of Disney Magic. Recently, he complated a new set for L.A.'s acclaimed Groundlings Theatre.

He has art directed several television series, and for HBO's Deadwood, he received an Emmy Award.
