In New York he designed the Broadway productions of Born Yesterday with Ed Asner and
Madeline Kahn, As Is, and The Musical Comedy Murders of 1940.
He has designed the national tours of Sleuth
with Stacy Keach and I Never Sang
for My Father with Daniel J. Travanti.
His many Off-Broadway credits include the acclaimed productions of
The Seahorse and The Boys Next Door, Album, with
Kevin Bacon, Goodnight, Grandpa,
with Milton Berle, and numerous productions for Circle Repertory
Company and The Manhattan Theatre Club, where he designed the American
premieres of Athol Fugard's Nongogo and
Statements.
He has designed extensively for regional theatres across the
country, the movies Kennedy's
Children and Fifth 0f July,
and, on ice, the world tour of 75
Years of Disney Magic.
He was the Art Director of the HBO series Deadwood, for which he
received an Emmy award.
