John Racca


John RaccaJohn Racca appeared on the Colony state as the Chauffeur, Train Conductor, Papa Clairon, and SS Officer in The Grand Tour.

John’s credits include starring as Tony in West Side Story for Long Beach Civic Light Opera, where he also appeared in the LA Premiere of Sunday in the Park with George as Louis. Other southland credits include Cabaret (Cliff) and Anything Goes (Billy Crocker) for Downey CLO, Evita (Magaldi) for South Bay CLO, and Man of La Mancha starring Robert Goulet at the Cerritos Center. 

National tours include Meet Me in St. Louis starring Debby Boone (Boy Next Door), She Loves Me starring Pam Dawber and Joel Higgins (standby for Mr. Higgins), and Jesus Christ Superstar (Annas). 

John made his professional debut with the Sacramento Music Circus where he has appeared in Camelot (Mordred), Grease (Doody), and Footloose (Principal Harry Clark), among some two dozen appearances. Credits around the country include Oklahoma! (Curly), and South Pacific (Lt. Cable) for Galveston Outdoor Musicals, Finian’s Rainbow (Woody Mahoney) for 42nd St. Moon, San Francisco, The Unsinkable Molly Brown (The Prince) for San Diego Starlight Theatre, and Beauty and the Beast for Ector Theatricals. 

John has toured extensively, from Helsinki to Taipei to Rio, touring the Far East in Evita, South America with The Ray Conniff Singers, and he regularly appears in a popular cabaret act at various hot spots across Western Europe. 

Television credits include General Hospital.
