Jeffrey Rockwell's performances behind and in front of the keyboard include 2 Pianos, 4 Hands, Gunmetal Blues, Billy Bishop Goes to War, and The Musical of Musicals: The Musical! He also created the music and lyrics for their productions of Dandelion Wine and The Last Metro, and he was the music director for Follies and A Little Night Music.
He began his formal piano studies at the age of nine and concluded in his twenties after his stint at Juilliard as a drama student. During that time, he soloed with orchestras in works ranging from a Mozart concerto to the Rhapsody in Blue. As an actor, he most recently covered the role of the Grinch in the Old Globe's holiday perennial and played Emile in South Pacific for Sierra Repertory Theatre. For CLO of South Bay Cities, he played Fingers in Twice Upon A Time, and has otherwise run the gamut of leading-man roles in regional theatres from San Diego to Palm Beach. These include four El Gallos (The Fantasticks), three Sky Mastersons (Guys and Dolls), two Fredriks (A Little Night Music), two Quixotes (Man of La Mancha), two Julian Marshes (42nd Street), and single stabs at Stone (City of Angels), Beast (Beauty and the Beast), Frank Butler (Annie Get Your Gun), Higgins (My Fair Lady), Arthur (Camelot), and Ravenal (Show Boat).
