
Whitney Rydbeck has appeared

Can't Take It With You,
The
Last Metro, Execution of
Justice, the Bonus Production of A Moon For the Misbegotten
the late-night production of Beyond The Fourth Wall, and directed
the Bonus production of The Gin Game.
He has appeared in two productions of Dandelion
Wine. No, he was not in the celebrated Colony production of twenty
years ago, but instead, the 1971 Cal-State Fullerton production (the West
Coast premiere) in which he played "Grandpa." He played Mr. Sanderson
in The Colony's 2000 revival of that renowned Ray Bradbury play.
He has played on many Los
Angeles stages in such productions as Drood, How the Other Half
Loves, Candida, The Orphan's Revenge, Sugar, and Clothespins and
Dreams.
In the early ‘80s, he was
well known to young audiences in the KNBC children’s TV series Whitney
and the Robot. An accomplished mime, he has been a member of
the L.A. Mime Company and the Richmond Shepard Mime Theatre.
Television credits include
"I Know My First Name is Steven," "Highway to Heaven," "Simon and Simon"
and the Movie of the Week, Murder of Innocents, 3rd Rock From the Sun,
Party of Five, and Grace Under Fire.
He teaches theatre arts at
Pasadena City College and shoots other actors - with his camera, that is.
