Alison Shanks


Allison ShanksAlison Shanks has appeared at the Colony in The Laramie Project (2002 Ovation Awards for best show, ensemble, and direction). Other Colony Roles: Lusia Pechenik in A Shayna Maidel (Robby Award nomination), Sarah Chandler in The Living (L.A. premiere), and Susaneh Winter in The Clearing.

The Falcon Theatre: Dot in Johnny Boy (u/s, performed).

Regional credits include Leonide in The Triumph of Love (Florida Studio Theatre), Carolyne in Fakes (Sarasota New Play Festival), Isabella in Measure for Measure, Roxane in Cyrano de Bergerac, Lady Macbeth in Macbeth, and Maria in Twelfth Night (all at the North Carolina Shakespeare Festival).

New York credits include  Elise in The Miser (Lincoln Center), Inez in Coal Diamond (Ensemble Studio Theatre), and The Woman in Dario Fo and Franca Rame's Waking Up (Manhattan Rep).

Television credits include guest starring roles on The Practice, Strong Medicine, and the miniseries Lucky Luke; and appearances on Crossing Jordan, Friends, and Without a Trace.

Film credits include Peter Rabbit and the Crucifix (Sundance Festival 2001, short film award winner).
