Flori Shutzer


Flori Shutzer (Production Stage Manager, I Have Before Me a Remarkable Document Given to Me by a Young Lady from Rwanda) was the Producing Manager of the Will Geer Theatricum Botanicum in the 1980s and 90s where she helped to develop the theatre's many educational programs. She has worked in other nonprofit fields ranging from international relief and development to crisis counseling. She has served on the Board of Directors of Teatro Tatalejos, and is currently a member of the Boards of Directors of Littleweed, Inc. and Radio Club Afterschool, an arts enrichment program. 

She was the Stage and Production Manager for Lifesighs with Graham Nash at the Annenberg Theater at the University of Pennsylvania. Back in theatre as of the first of this year (do we ever leave?) she participated in the Edge of the World Festival at Los Angeles Theatre Center, managing the world premiere of Min‚, a Name for Herself, and with the Los Angeles Philharmonic at Walt Disney Concert Hall, stage managing The Rehearsal (Shostakovich's 13th Symphony) for the First Nights series. She was the Stage Manager of Stone Heart: Everyone Loves a Journey West, and The Red Road with Native Voices at the Autry, both of which also toured to the NMAI of the Smithsonian Institute. She has been a Union Maid (Actors' Equity) since 1980.
