Vernon has done 10 shows with the Laguna Playhouse, has worked with the Oregon Ballet Theatre and the Marla Bingham Contemporary Ballet and was the Production Manager for the Musical Theatre Guild. He has worked in many of the local theaters including the Dorothy Chandler Pavilion, Henry Fonda Theatre, Ricardo Montalban, Cerritos Center for the Performing Arts, Alex Theatre, La Mirada Center for the Performing Arts, Pasadena Playhouse, Canon Theatre, Thousand Oaks Civic Arts Performing Complex, Carpenter Performing Arts Center and Los Angeles Theatre Center.
Vernon shares his life with multiple award-winning director/choreographer/champion ballroom dancer Cate Caplin.
