Richard "Red" Colegrove

Richard "Red" Colegrove began working with The Colony as a freelance technician in May of 2003 and has been serving as The Colony's Technical Director since July 2003. 

Richard earned a certificate in Technical Theater from the Los Angeles Theater Academy in 2001 and teachs technical theater at North High School in Torrance. 

Red spent 2 years working at the Santa Fe Opera and has freelanced as a technician at such local venues as the Los Angeles Theater Center, A Noise Within, Odyssey, Ford Amphitheater, Falcon, El Portal, Alex and Hollywood Court theaters. He has also designed scenery and lighting for a number of productions.
