![]() While in Chicago, Michellle worked in numerous theatres throughout the city. Notable among these are the Goodman Theatre, where she originated the role of Barbara Smith in Frank Galati's Cry, The Beloved Country, Susan in Bob Falls's Riverview, and Angelique in Vivisections from the Blown Mind; the Northlight Theatre, where she played the title role in Hedda Gabler, Woman of the World in Blues in the Night, and many different women in Quilters; and Wisdom Bridge Theatre playing Isabel in Athol Fugard's My Children! My Africa! She reprised the role at Vienna's English Theatre in Austria. Dinner theatre credits include Anita in West Side Story, Tzeitel in Fiddler on the Roof, Rizzo in Grease, and Sr. Robert Anne in Nunsense. She has been on big and small
screens in Tom Hanks's That Thing You Do!,
