He has been performing since the age of five and his experience runs the gamut from good old-fashioned musicals to cutting edge new work. As a playwright, his pieces Womb, an exploration of Jewish death rituals, and Terrific Tim Tyranny, a modern day adaptation of Timon of Athens, have been performed all over the country, from Los Angeles to the Deep South. Aaron has acted with Occidental Children's Theatre, a movement-based folktale company, served as Literary Associate for Culture Clash's World Premiere Chavez Ravine at the Mark Taper Forum, and was Co-Artistic Director of The Transformation Festival, a three day cultural arts extravaganza in Silver Lake. Aaron will direct Woman in the Moon for Southern California Jewish Repertory Theatre. He received his BA in theatre
from Occidental College and has been trained in playwriting and dramaturgy
at the University of Alabama.
