BRIAN IBSEN (Steve "Beau" Weeks,
The Road to Appomattox) made his Colony debut in
Blame it on Beckett
as the slick and uncompromising managing director of a non-profit
theatre, and is thrilled to be back at the Colony in a very different
role as Jimmy in
Miracle on South Division Street.
He appeared on Broadway in T
he Lion in Winter with Laurence Fishburne and Stockard Channing, and in
The Rainmaker
with Woody Harrelson. He has worked with such directors as Scott Ellis,
Mark Lamos, and Tony Award winners Jack O'Brien, John Rando and Michael
Mayer.
Brian has performed in regional theater around the country in shows such as
Twelfth Night, Taming of the Shrew, Macbeth, The Glass Menagerie, The Lion in Winter, The Drawer Boy, and originated the role of Dan Jr. in Stephen Metcalfe's World Premiere play
Loves and Hours.
He holds a BFA in acting from Purchase College, SUNY and an MFA in acting from The Old Globe Theatres/USD.
