Larry
Lederman first appeared at the Colony as The Chauffeur in Grand
Hotel, the Musical. He has appeared in dozens of plays and musicals
in New York and Los Angeles, and on tour as far away as St. Petersburg,
Russia (in the first Fiddler on the Roof ever performed there).
A long-time member of Hollywood's prestigious West Coast Ensemble, he has
played principal roles there in The Mandrake, The Imaginary Cuckold,
The Diary of Anne Frank, Sophocles' Electra, Epic Proportions, The View
From Table Mountain (as Igor Stravinsky), The Grapes of Wrath (as
Pa Joad), Wonder of the World, Molière's The Bungler, and
others. He has also performed locally with Tony Tanner's Bare Bones Theatre
Company in A Pair By Molière, Tanner's adaptations of The
Misanthrope and The Learned Ladies.
Film credits include The
Mark and Soldier of God, and daytime viewers may remember him
as the friendly town jeweler on ABC's Port Charles.
Larry has also directed a
number of projects for the stage including several for West Coast Ensemble
and NoHo's Actors Forum Theatre, where he helmed the multiple-award-winning
Box 27.
